This video reviews current and upcoming devices in intraoperative guidance, including both intraoperative abberometry and image guidance systems used during surgery. Intraoperative aberrometry devices such as the ORA and Halos use wavefront technology and can be used in the aphakic eye during surgery, after cortex removal, to provide another measurement for IOL selection. Image guidance systems such as Verion and Callisto are very useful for intraoperative guidance during cataract surgery and allow for image overlays in real time either through the oculars of the microscope or on a separate 3D screen.
