Experience the architecture, music and culture of Chicago with knowledgeable tour guides. The Academy is working with Chicago Detours, a local tour company, to provide a wider variety of options for all AAO 2016 registrants, their spouses and guests, including:

• Connect with the 1893 World's Fair through food and architecture.
• View the city through a unique 5K running tour.
• Explore the Lincoln Park Conservatory and local farmers market.
• Experience an evening of live jazz at Kingston Mines.

Purchase tickets in advance or onsite at the Tour Sales counter, South, Level 2.5. Spouses and guests no longer need to register for AAO 2016 in order to purchase tour tickets.

Some tours will depart from, and return to, McCormick Place. Other tours depart from downtown Chicago, near official Academy hotels. Exact tour departure locations are listed on the website and on your tour purchase confirmation email.
