Dr. Lav Kochgaway and colleagues perform cataract surgery on a 3-month-old infant with ROP. The infant developed the cataract after her crystalline lens was pierced during administration of a bevacizumab injection. Iris prolapse and a small pupil complicated surgery, but Dr. Kochgaway successfully implanted in the capsular bag a 3-piece IOL. This video was judged the best video in the Challenging Cases Symposium at ESCRS 2014.
