    AAO 2023
    Comprehensive Ophthalmology, Neuro-Ophthalmology/Orbit

Many different eye-tracking technologies are now available, from wearables to computer programs. Dr. C. Ellis Wisely, assistant professor at Duke Eye Center, discusses his research using eye-tracking to study the long-term effects of sports-related traumatic brain injury (TBI) in this fifth talk from the AAO 2023 American Society of Ophthalmic Trauma (ASOT) "Sports-Related Ocular Trauma" Symposium. This study examines the long-term effects of TBIs on saccade speed and accuracy and demonstrates how eye-tracking technology may have value in helping to diagnose and manage sports-related ocular trauma in the future.
