Can I use Flomax after cataract surgery?

Answer:
Yes and it will not interfere with your healing. You may be thinking how Flomax and similar medications (known as BPH medication or alpha-blockers) can affect the iris's (the colored part of your eye) muscles during the surgery.
Before surgery, tell your ophthalmologist that you take these medications, so they can prepare for any side effects that may arise from them. After the surgery, there is no issue taking these drugs as it relates to your operated eye(s).
