The American Academy of Neurology is collaborating with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to host a webinar for health care providers on the diagnosis, management and treatment of Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS). Reports of people infected with Zika virus who also have GBS have increased since the Zika outbreak began.
Ted M. Burns, MD, professor of neurology at the University of Virginia, will present the free webinar on Friday, June 17, at 12 p.m. ET. Health care professionals are encouraged to attend and invite their peers.
