The Academy currently offers several different types of membership, with a wide range of benefits for domestic and international members depending on an individual's training, practice situation and needs. View details and applications below, for each membership type:

US ophthalmologists application (924 KB)

• Active Fellow/Osteopathic Fellow-Board certified ($900)
• Active Member ($900)
• First Year in Practice ($425)
• Second Year in Practice ($650)
• Member in Training (fee waived)

International ophthalmologists application (395 KB)

• International Member ($495 US dollars)
• International Member in Training ($160 US dollars)

There are also two types of memberships for non-ophthalmologists or ophthalmologists who are not practicing but are engaged in a field related to ophthalmology:

• Associate Member ($500)
• Industry Member ($1,200)
