Injection code for Duxyu used during cataract surgery
Our surgeon will begin using Duxyu during cataract surgery. The facility will bill for the drug. Is there an injection code for the surgeon to submit?
The injection code is Category III code 0699T Injection, posterior chamber of eye, medication which effective January 1, 2022, is bundled with cataract surgery and other anterior segment surgeries. Bottom line: Nothing additional for the surgeon to submit. As you stated, the facility will bill for the drug.
