Dr. Swanand Pradhan and Dr. P. R. Aswin treated a 34-year-old shepherd who presented with complaints of redness and itching in his eye. Slit lamp examination revealed an Oestrus ovis (sheep bot fly) larva. The surface of the conjunctiva was treated with topical proparacaine to reduce the motility of the larva, and it was removed with non-toothed forceps. The larva was examined under light microscope for identification.
