Dr. Rumelt received his medical degree from Tel Aviv University. He completed his residency program at Western Galilee–Nahariya Medical Center in Nahariya, Israel, and then an Oculoplastics fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Boston, Massachusetts, and a Vitreoretinal fellowship at Boston University. Dr. Rumelt is a senior ophthalmologist at the Western Galilee–Nahariya Medical Center and is engaged in oculoplastic and facial reconstructive surgery as well as other fields in ophthalmology. His research interests include the pathogenesis and treatment of lacrimal drainage disorders among other diseases.
