Dr. Mostafa Mohammed Diab demonstrates the use of combined frontalis flap advancement and maximal levator resection for repair of severe congenital ptosis, with a focus on simple dissection of the frontalis flap under direct visualization. Concurrent levator muscle advancement helps to prevent eyelid malpositions associated with frontalis flap advancement, including eyelash inversion, entropion, and eyelid popping.
