Within a week of cataract surgery, my distance vision is blurrier with more sunlight. Could I have a PCO already?
Yes, you may have early PCO or posterior capsule opacification (when the capsule holding your eye's lens becomes cloudy after cataract surgery). Sometimes early deposits on the posterior capsule resolve on their own. If this is the cause and does not resolve itself, a YAG capsulotomy can fix the problem at about three months after your surgery.
