Can I get LASIK for three refractive errors?
JUN 03, 2021
Question:
Is it possible to get LASIK surgery if I am farsighted in one eye and nearsighted in the other? I also have astigmatism in both eyes.
Answer:
LASIK can treat both nearsightedness and farsightedness as well as astigmatism. However, farsighted (hyperopic) eyes have a tendency to drift back toward farsightedness after LASIK. I suggest seeing a reputable LASIK surgeon who can evaluate your candidacy for the procedure.
