Moscone Center and the Academy continue to partner to maintain a safe meeting space.
The Academy hires security consultants who are experienced off-duty and retired police officers. They oversee contracted security staff who manage access to Moscone Center.
Moscone Center provides 24-hour in-house security to monitor the overall safety of the facility, including public areas and the perimeter of the convention center.
While San Francisco does not currently have mask or vaccine requirements for public spaces, including Moscone Center, the convention center remains fully committed to the protocols and practices that have been developed since the pandemic.
The convention center has achieved GBAC STAR™ Facilities Accreditation through the Global BioRisk Advisory Council, a division of the worldwide cleaning industry association ISSA — considered the gold standard in the industry.
Moscone Center adheres to the cleaning protocols set forth in the U.S. EPA's Emerging Pathogen Policy regarding cleaning disinfectants.
