We’re back! Orbital Gala chairs Dr. Ron and Wendy Pelton are delighted to welcome you to the Academy Foundation’s 18th annual fundraising event. Since we haven’t seen each other in two years, this year’s gala will be more exciting than ever. Get spiffy for the “Masquerade” and join us in person to party for the best cause – Academy programs like Minority Ophthalmology Mentoring, the ONE® Network, Global Myopia Initiative, EyeCare America® and more. The Young Ophthalmologists are joining up with seasoned members and Gala guests for the fun.

Every day is a carnival in the Big Easy. Grab your beads, parasol and masquerade mask and:

    • Swap stories of intrigue and catch up with friends at the cocktail party!
    • Experience the thrill of winning unique auction treasures!
    • Step in line and join the revelry as we celebrate and honor David J. Noonan, former Academy deputy executive vice president!

NEW THIS YEAR: We’ve reimagined the event as an intimate, exclusive and fabulous cocktail party with full bar and heavy hors d'oeuvres, honors to David Noonan, and more. The shorter format gives you the flexibility to have dinner with friends and colleagues at one of New Orleans’ distinctive restaurants afterwards. All ticket buyers will receive complimentary access to “On The Town,” a concierge service that will assist in obtaining a reservation from a curated list of restaurants in the French Quarter and Garden District. Buy your tickets today to receive this exclusive perk for Orbital Gala guests.

    Purchase Tickets Early

Due to limited capacity, there are fewer tickets available this year, so don’t miss out! Tickets are $250 per person. Young Ophthalmologists can buy tickets at a special discounted rate of $75. (Note: Since there will not be a sit-down dinner at this event, there is no reserved seating or table purchases.)
