    Question:

How do you treat a wasp sting on the eyelid?

    Answer:

If you get stung by a wasp on or around your eyes, seek urgent or emergency care, preferably with your ophthalmologist, before the eye starts swelling. There may be bits of the insect that need to be removed. Wash gently with soap and water, place a cool compress on the eyelid and take an oral antihistamine.

Significant itching or swelling may require topical or oral steroids to quiet.
