Can you bill an office visit with a corneal foreign body removal?
Answer:
To bill an office visit on the same day as any minor procedure, for example CPT code 65222, you must meet the definition of modifier –25. Though the exam might be medically necessary, it is not separately billable if it is performed solely to confirm the need for the minor procedure.
