Question:
I am experiencing a continuous bright spot in my vision in one eye. It came on suddenly and has remained for several hours thus far. It’s similar to looking at a bright light which is still there momentarily when you look away; yet this will not clear up. Any ideas?
Answer:
A constant light in one eye would signify retinal stimulation. A thorough eye exam should be performed to look for retinal pathology and possibly visual field testing to check for any underlying problems.
