    Question:

    Can rigid gas permeable lenses be tinted in a dark red tint for migraine sufferers?


    Answer:

    Since rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses freely move and only cover a portion of the cornea, tinting the lenses would cause a very odd combination of colored light. It is not a recommended method of treating migraines.
