Excluding the fact that I have retinitis pigmentosa, am I able to fix my astigmatism with laser eye surgery?

Answer:
Yes, having retinitis pigmentosa (an inherited disease that causes a slow loss of vision) has no bearing on the astigmatism that is in your cornea. You should still be able to have LASIK or PRK surgery.
