  • How can I help my infant child adapt to wearing glasses?

    Question:
My 6-month-old baby started wearing glasses for farsightedness. It has been difficult for him to adapt to wearing them. He gets irritated and tries to take them off. What can I do to help him adapt?

    Answer:
It is hard to adapt to glasses at most ages and certainly for an infant. Just keep working with it. Takes breaks as you need to for the baby. With time, nearly all accept the lenses once they become used to wearing them.
