Question:
I have sleep apnea and wear a CPAP mask every night to bed. Since I’ve been using the mask I’ve been having trouble with dry eyes. Do you know of any way around this side effect?
Answer:
It is possible that the CPAP is causing eye drying at night. You may want to use a non-prescription ocular lubricant gel or gel drop in the eyes before bedtime. You can also use a non-prescription ocular lubricant ointment which may cause some blurring but will last longer.
