Steven E. Civiletto, MD
Dr. Steven E. Civiletto, an Academy Life Fellow, died on Feb. 1, 2021 at the age of 70.
Dr. Civiletto was a board-certified ophthalmologist at Clemson Eye. He has been in private practice since 1980, including 20 years in Dallas and 20 years in Greenville, S.C.
Dr. Civiletto obtained his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency training at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and a fellowship in ocular inflammatory and infectious disease at Baylor College of Medicine.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen, daughters Anne and Elizabeth and two grandchildren, Andrew and Avery, and a loving extended family.
