Billing an E/M Code with G2010
Question: Can you bill an E/M code (via audio/video) and G2010 or would that be double dipping?
Answer: The descriptor of G2010 states “including interpretation with follow-up with the patient within 24 business hours.” Although G2012 can be included same day, it would not be appropriate to bill for another exam service.
