Bundling Edits Impacting Ophthalmology Effective Jan. 1
On Jan. 1, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services began implementing its current Correct Coding Initiative Edits (CCI), version 26.0.

“Indicator 1” means that there are times when it is appropriate to unbundle.
“Indicator 0” means these two codes can never be unbundled.
