Question: Can we submit a claim for G2012 Virtual check-in when performed by our certified technicians or orthoptists?
Answer: No. Although well-trained, technicians — even those who are certified — are not licensed to practice medicine and can’t report any of the telemedicine codes, including 99211 which does not qualify as telemedicine.
