ICD-10 Code for Brow Ptosis
Question: Our surgeon will be performing a brow ptosis procedure; however there is no applicable ICD-10 code. What is the appropriate diagnosis to submit?
Answer: As of October 2018, you can now submit for brow ptosis:
- H57.811, right
- H57.812, left
- H57.813, bilateral
Of course, you will need to verify with your payers because not all implement the new codes when they become effective.
