  • Patching as Treatment Plan for Amblyopia and Level of Risk

What is the level of risk when patching is recommended for an amblyopia patient?

    Answer:

Patching would be considered a moderate level of risk based on the risk of morbidity from treatment. Along with a moderate level of problem (e.g. one chronic illness with progression), the overall level would be moderate and level 4 E/M.
