Update on Limited Initiative with The American Academy of Optometry
On Dec. 4, 2013, the American Academy of Ophthalmology announced a limited initiative with the American Academy of Optometry to explore possible areas of mutual interest that could be beneficial to patient care. Since this announcement, the Board of Trustees has received feedback from members requesting more details as to the background for the discussions, the objective of the discussions, underlying principles, and any available details.
