  • Is it OK to wear my contact lens with swollen retina?

    Question:

I recently experienced an eye injury and have a swollen retina. Is it OK to wear my contact lens after this occurred or will it delay the process of healing?

    Answer:

If the cornea and the front of the eye is not injured, then it is fine to wear a contact lens, as the retina is in the back of the eye.
