The Trabecular Micro-Bypass System Model iS3 allows for placement of three stents to bypass the trabecular meshwork. Appropriate spacing of these stents can be limited when using a 2.4-mm clear corneal incision, due to mechanical restriction at the incision and decreased visualization of the angle structures at the extremes of the gonioprism. This video demonstrates how utilizing a paracentesis incision improves visualization, which leads to greater ease and accuracy of stent placement and more space between the implants compared with the current practice of placing all three stents through a main clear corneal incision.
