Promoting Diagnostic Excellence Across the House of Medicine Program: Ophthalmology’s First Diagnostic Excellence Initiative

The Academy strives to help ophthalmologists manage diagnostic dilemmas posed by patients with potentially vision-threatening ocular infections and other ocular diseases.

Thanks to a grant from the CMSS Promoting Diagnostic Excellence Across the House of Medicine program, the Academy developed a variety of content, from podcasts to EyeNet articles, to promote diagnostic excellence and encourage physicians to make data-driven diagnostic choices, individualized for each patient, and that that address inequities in care where possible.
