In this course from AAO 2022, the instructors use sets of 5 rules to provide a standardized process for examining and documenting the optic disc and retinal nerve fiber layer and for evaluating the visual field to identify signs of glaucoma. By the end of the course, participants should be better able to systematically perform optic nerve examination, interpret visual fields to diagnose glaucoma earlier, correctly stage the disease, and detect glaucoma progression.
