Comprehensive Ophthalmology, Diagnostic & Imaging , Retina/Vitreous, Scleritis , Uveitis

In this course from AAO 2022, the instructors review the epidemiology, diagnosis, and ophthalmic complications of anterior, necrotizing, and posterior scleritis. After completing the course, participants should be able to diagnose and classify patients with scleritis by eliciting an appropriate history, undertaking a proper physical examination, and ordering a precise, systemic workup. They should also be able to refer to the protocols used for different scleritis treatment modalities, such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), corticosteroids, immunomodulatory agents, and antibiotics.
