Dr. Nesrine Abroug presents a case of massive uveal effusion and retinal detachment exacerbated by latanoprost therapy in a patient with nanophthalmos. After a full-thickness sclerotomy was performed in both eyes, the patient achieved some visual improvement (limited by existing cataract and hyperopia) with no recurrence of retinal detachment within the 7-month follow-up period.
