Academy Lends Support for Study That Aims to Improve National Vision Health
The Academy is joining several ophthalmic organizations as a sponsor of a consensus study that will be conducted by the Institute of Medicine. The study will examine public health strategies to reduce visual impairment and promote eye health in the U.S. The IOM will name a committee of experts from multiple medical disciplines to help facilitate the study.
