CMS Applies MIPS Hardship Exception to Individual Eligible Physicians for 2020
In recognition of the challenges practices faced due to the pandemic, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced today that it will automatically apply the extreme and uncontrollable circumstances policy to individual eligible clinicians for the 2020 Merit-Based Incentive Payment year.
