Open Payments Review Resumes Despite Significant Data Issues

The Open Payments system is once again available for physicians and teaching hospitals to register, review and dispute financial interaction information they may have with industry. The new financial disclosures are a mandate under the Sunshine Act that is a component of the Affordable Care Act. A disruptive technology glitch caused the system to be unavailable for 11 days.
