Ophthalmology Scores Scope of Practice Victory in Australia

The profession of ophthalmology scored a major victory in Australia last week. Following a protracted disagreement with optometry regarding the diagnosis and management of glaucoma patients, the professions reached an agreement just days before the matter was due in court.
