Patch or Replace: Lawmakers Still Unclear on SGR Repeal and Medicare Overhaul
Top congressional leaders returned to fixing the Medicare sustainable growth rate formula this week, but did not settle on a proposed solution. Physicians face a 21 percent Medicare payment cut April 1 if Congress fails to act on getting rid of the SGR.
