Senate Panel Approves a $2 Billion Cash Injection for Medical Research Funding
Medical research funded by the National Institutes of Health may receive a much-needed $2 billion cash injection in the next government funding year. The Senate Appropriations Committee last week approved this increase for 2016. It’s the largest funding boost the NIH has seen in more than a decade.
