Introduction

Thank you for joining us as a Mentor for students in the Minority Ophthalmology Mentoring program. We are greatly appreciative of your time. To assist you in coaching and guiding the students on their path, we have compiled useful information in this section. Three parts are available for you as resources that you can view now and continue to come back to as needed. They include:

• Mentoring Videos: These six videos will help provide an overview of the program that serves as an orientation and on the key elements of a successful relationship with your mentee.
• Residency Match Basics: This section is a collection of data-driven articles and updates to the application timelines and process.
• Research Mentorship: In this section, we provide a list of programs that are available to give to your students to help them find research opportunities.
