YAG Management of Anterior IOL Membrane

Dr. Morgan Micheletti demonstrates surgical removal of an anterior IOL membrane using a Nd:YAG laser at low energy of 0.7 mJ and an anterior offset of 100 μm. With this low-risk, noninvasive treatment, he applies laser to first break up the membrane. If the condition recurs, Dr. Micheletti proceeds with surgical intervention under the anterior capsule to remove the trapped epithelial cells.
