By Jonathan J. Dutton, MD, PhD
Subspecialty Day 2012: Oculofacial Plastic Surgery
Oculoplastics/Orbit
In this presentation from the 2012 Annual Meeting, Dr. Jonathan Dutton discusses the intrinsic and extrinsic factors that underlie facial aging including photodamage, bone changes, ligament attachments, and superficial and deep fat compartments. Dr. Dutton concludes that rejuvenation procedures must be aimed at all of these specific anatomic changes, especially with regard to volume changes.
