Maxillary sinus atelectasis or “silent sinus syndrome” is characterized by unilateral spontaneous enophthalmos and hypoglobus due to increased orbital volume and retraction of the orbital floor-maxillary sinus roof. This video demonstrates a single-stage surgical treatment with balloon sinus dilatation to revolumize the maxillary sinus and augment sinus drainage.
