Paper-Clip Capsule Stabilizer

The paper-clip capsule stabilizer can be used for subluxated cataracts and IOLs and offers sutureless anchoring of the capsular bag to the sclera. Additional advantages are ease of implantation, of engaging the rrhexis rim, and of anchoring to the sclera. It also offers faster and simpler surgery than sutured devices. Ease of centration and the ability to further adjust centration by adjusting the degree of tuck are further advantages. Issues arising with sutured devices, such as long-term degradation, are absent.
