Dr. Davinder Grover demonstrates a novel, minimally invasive, ab interno approach to a circumferential 360-degree trabeculotomy that improves on conventional ab externotrabeculotomy by avoiding conjunctival and scleral incisions to identify the canal. Drs. Grover and Ronald Fellman, who developed the technique, have demonstrated its efficacy in 68% to 90% of eyes. The patient in this video presented with an IOP of 28 mm Hg on maximally tolerated therapy. Following surgery, her IOP dropped to 15 mm Hg and she required no medication.
