Drs. Victoria De Rojas and colleagues manage a patient who suffered blunt trauma and a dislocated IOL complex due to a pressurized water stream. The main challenge, they noted, was dissecting between the capsules; the area was already fibrosed and fused due to a prior cataracty surgery. The surgeons used an Ahmed segment to treat the patient, resulting in CDVA of 20/30 and IOP of 20 mm Hg.
