Dr. Wayne Crewe-Brown demonstrates presbyopia correction with the Presbia Flexivue Microlens corneal inlay. The Microlens has a thickness of 15 µm, a diameter of 3.2 mm, a 1.6-mm plano zone centrally, and a peripheral zone with refractive power of +1. D to +3.5D. In the video, a corneal pocket for the inlay is created with the IntraLase iFS150 at a depth of 300 µm. The Microlens is loaded into a custom-made inserter and stromal separation is performed with a flap lifter. The inlay is teased out of the inserter with a plunger and a blunt cannula is used to nudge it into the correct position in the pocket.
