This video focuses on a simple technique of scleral fixation of hydrophobic single piece Acrylic AcrySof PC IOL. An aphakic, vitrectomized eye of a 75-year-old woman with absent PC was planned for double haptic scleral fixation of IOL under a local anaesthetic. Most of the repoted techniques to fixate PC IOLs in aphakic eyes with deficient PC carry a risk of hypotony and trauma to pars plicata. This video presents an atraumatic closed chamber technique of scleral fixation of foldable IOL.
